Things sure have changed from when I was a kid. No, I'm not going to go on about how I used to walk uphill in the snow (both ways!) to school every day in my bare feet, because admittedly, I had a pretty cozy childhood.

Many years ago, after this writer penned an editorial about the purported need to upgrade a stretch of Highway 1A east of Canmore, Alta. for reasons of safety, he received a phone call from an irate reader.

Recently I did something, as a mother, that was incredibly daring. Neighbours may consider it scandalous. Friends who know me well might raise an eyebrow.

EDITOR, I have long felt that stretch of asphalt between the Fields building and old Home Hardware site holds the key to downtown revitalization.

EDITOR, 麻豆社国产city officials are doing their best to frustrate the will of elected councillors.

It's a fact that cyber crime is on the rise, and nobody can argue that something needs to be done to stem the tide and combat this new type of criminal.

Do plan on being at St. John's Anglican Church at 1930 Diamond Rd. on Sunday (Feb. 26) at 2 p.m. when talented pianist Madeline Hildebrand will perform.
