On March 11, Women of Aviation Worldwide, Fly it Forward, returned to Glacier Air. In total, seven aircraft took 39 flights, taking 121 girls and women in the air.

The window display is also a reminder that the annual Howe Sound Women’s Centre silent auction is underway. It ends on March 31.

The family wants to thank Cameron Gutjahr, Pip, doctors Millar and Coetsee, and the staff of the hospice for their wonderful care during Roy's last days. 

Cougar Jack was raised in the Â鶹Éç¹ú²úarea, a member of the pioneer family of Carsons. 

Adam was a kind gentle person who loved being active and outdoors in nature, birdwatching, hiking, canoeing. 

The Sound Martial Arts and Swtch House hosted a Complimentary Womxn's Self Defence Class on March 8 — International Women’s Day. Â鶹Éç¹ú²úMMA fighter Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels and team put the women through the paces at The Sound. The Â鶹Éç¹ú²ú’s intern Emily Stamper was there to capture the event.

He will be missed by many; Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Â鶹Éç¹ú²úFuneral Chapel.

After getting sick, he left for the West Coast and lived in Whistler and then Â鶹Éç¹ú²úfor the past 10 years. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., on Sunday, March 12  at The Â鶹Éç¹ú²úValley Golf Course, 2458 Mamquam Road.
