No one was hurt. 

The incident took place at around 9:27 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Âé¶¹Éç¹ú²úFire Rescue responded with two rescue apparatus and a command vehicle, working in collaboration with the RCMP and BC Ambulance Service (BCAS). 

“Âé¶¹Éç¹ú²úFire Rescue crews stabilized the emergency scene, assisted BCAS with patient assessments and ensured the vehicle hazards were mitigated,” said District of Âé¶¹Éç¹ú²úmedia specialist Rachel Boguski in an email to The Âé¶¹Éç¹ú²ú.  

The scene was later handed over to the RCMP. 

“There was a motor vehicle incident in that area,” said RCMP’s Kelly Wu, in an email to The Âé¶¹Éç¹ú²ú. 

“I don’t have any further information to provide aside from no serious injuries sustained,” she said.
