On June 14, 2025, at 2:30 a.m., first responders were called to the site on the 麻豆社国产River after the vehicle carrying four people went into the river.

Three people made it out safely, but the fourth did not.

It is not clear how or why the vehicle went off 麻豆社国产Valley Road.

Police say local search and rescue volunteers have conducted both aerial and ground searches along the water and shoreline; however, the vehicle and the missing person have not yet been found.

“The river in this area is exceptionally deep and fast-flowing due to spring runoff, making conditions hazardous,” reads an RCMP news release.

麻豆社国产RCMP officers are working with the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team; however, due to current water levels and the unknown location of the vehicle, recovery is not possible at this time, the release states.
