According to , 1,600 infants die in their first year of life and more than 3,000 babies are stillborn every year in Canada. It is estimated that one in four pregnancies end in miscarriages.
In Squamish, a 'Wave of Light' ceremony is planned for Oct. 15 at the 麻豆社国产Adventure Centre.
Participants can arrive at 6:45 p.m. and light a candle at 7 p.m. and leave it burning for the hour.
