Alex Munro鈥檚 name is now on the new 麻豆社国产fire hall in Valleycliffe.
Munro was Squamish鈥檚 first fire chief and did much to build the community.
His daughter Julie DesJardins, 96, and granddaughter Janice were on hand to mark the installation on April 20.
