Two B.C. men are facing multiple drug possession and trafficking charges after a police investigation into an organization crime group led to the execution of search warrants on three residences.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit - British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) launched the probe in 2023 and is now looking for the public's help in locating Phi Hoang Nguyen, 32, of Burnaby and Jayson Vu, 29, of New Westminster.

As a result of the warrants, police seized:

  • three kilograms of cannabis concentrate
  • ketamine, cocaine and fentanyl
  • a 9 mm firearm and ammunition

CFSEU-BC said two people were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking on Feb. 27, 2024.

On May 13, 2025, the Public Prosecution Service of Canada approved multiple charges in the case.

Vu is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine and ketamine.

“This CFSEU-BC investigation uncovered an alleged drug trafficking network causing significant harm to our communities,” said CFSEU-BC spokesperson Cpl. Sarbjit K. Sangha in a statement.
