On Monday, August 22, Orientation Week 2022 officially started. This year the slogan of the Orientation is "Sound of Silence", however, the ceremony of acquaintance with freshmen was incredibly intense and fun as always!

On Tuesday, August 2nd, the closing ceremony of the CLS (Critical Language Scholarship) summer program was held at the AUCA. During the program, students have been taking intensive Russian language classes with group instructors, visited various cultural attractions and met with professionals for talks and guest lectures.

There is less than a week left before the start of the Orientation Program, the whole AUCA community thrillingly waiting for this moment, and on the eve of this event, we would like to share great news!

The most intensive and joyful two weeks of Orientation 2022 are approaching! On August 22, the most exciting event in the life of the AUCA community will begin 鈥� the university will welcome our new freshmen! Prepare your happy faces and communication skills, they are necessary for everyone!

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. G枚rkem Atsungur as a Chair of the International and Comparative Politics Department. Gorkem has been working with us since 2012. He received his B.A in International Relations from Cyprus International 麻豆社国产, his M.A in European Studies from Istanbul Bilgi 麻豆社国产, and his Mgr. in Political Science 鈥� European Politics from Masaryk 麻豆社国产 in the Czech Republic.
