AUCA hosts AAICU conference

听麻豆社国产 hosted 22 university presidents and administrators from different countries, in Bishkek April 20-22 for the annual meeting of the American Association of International Colleges and Universities (AAICU). AAICU upholds the highest standards in American higher education, such as English-language instruction, a non-profit business model, liberal arts-inspired curricula, and American regional accreditation.
Association鈥檚 presidents and chief academic officers will provide an analysis of current policy and legislation affecting accreditation, and an overview of the accreditation process. AAICU President Celeste Schenck,听president of听The American听麻豆社国产听of Paris, opened the event听with AUCA President Andrew Wachtel, who hosted听a panel discussion on key issues facing university leaders.
The event included meetings of both presidents and deans, the various AAICU committees, and plenaries promoting the institutions鈥櫶齭hared mission. 听Participants and听partners also had the opportunity to experience the beauty of Kyrgyzstan听at听dinners听held听at听Supara ethno-complex and the听Ala-Archa National park,听and through a variety of cultural tours around the city. 听
